Smokey Skies

With that title sounding something coming from Donkey Kong Country game, Here is a Delta DC-8 climbing out of Seattle in the very rare livery they first wore that only propliners before them wore.

The smoke is due to water injection of the engines as early jets needed them for some sort of reason a "youngster" like me doesn't quite understand.
